The Office of Financial Analysis provides the following services to the University community:
- Prepares the University’s federal facilities and administration and federal fringe benefit rate agreements
- Coordinates and manages the University’s response to government-required audits and government audits of externally sponsored research projects
- Oversees the University’s recharge centers, including federal compliance and creation of new recharge centers
- Completes required regulatory reporting, such as the National Science Foundation survey on expenditures and facilities
- Prepares and maintains federally required disclosure statement
- Provides training related to the administration of sponsored research projects
- Oversees effort certification reporting
- Manages review of exceptions that allow certain telecommunication expenses on sponsored projects to be charged as direct costs
- Conducts special studies as needed
