Controlled Value Card  Reference Guide

USC's Controlled Value Card (CV-Card) is issued by American Express, and is established with a spending limit that decreases as purchases are made, until the available amount is zero. The CV-Card works much like a debit card, although there are several notable differences.

The CV-Card is subject to the Procurement Card policies and procedures.  Cardholders may use the CV-Card for USC business transactions only. Partial business and personal transactions are not permitted. The CV-Card may not be used for travel or for dining at restaurants or hotels. The Travel Card should be used for travel and dining purchases.
