Procurement Card Statement Update

All P-Card statements will continue to be mailed in hardcopy format, despite any recent communications you may have received from GE Capital regarding a change to electronic statements.

USC's Procurement Card Policies and Procedures require P-Cardholders to retain signed and approved hardcopy statements (with receipts attached) for four years (Section 2.7). Because the mailing of hardcopy statements facilitates compliance with this policy, Travel Management & Corporate Card Services has opted out of GE Capital's electronic statement program for P-Cardholders.

P-Cardholders continue to have access to GE NetService (www.genetservice.com), and it is recommended that each P-Cardholder register as an online user. GE NetService provides convenient access to transaction details and credit limits, and should be used to update personal information (i.e. email address, physical address).

Note that because TravelPlus Cardholders do not need to retain signed and approved hardcopy statements, they will no longer receive hardcopy statements. Travel Plus Cardholders can utilize electronic statements viewable/downloadable in GE NetService.

We will continue to evaluate electronic statement options, and will notify P-Cardholders directly should an option that meets the University's needs become available.
