Financial Aid
For information about Financial Aid, including application, change in award, adjustment to certified amount, loan approval, eligibility, etc., please contact the Office of Financial Aid at: http://www.usc.edu/financialaid .

Health Center Fee:
The Student Health Center Service fee is not the same as the Student Health Insurance fee. The Student Health Service fee pays for use of an out-patient clinic and other services, and is mandatory for all students taking six or more units. For Fall 2009, the estimated fee is $228.00. For Summer 2009, this fee was $16.00 per week (maximum 12 weeks = $192).

You can get more information about health center fees on their website at:
       http://www.usc.edu/student-affairs/Health_Center/.

Health Insurance:
Student Health Insurance is mandatory, unless you can prove that you already have comparable health insurance coverage. Health insurance waiver forms (and instructions) are available on the Health Center website at: www.usc.edu/uphc or you may call (213) 740-0551.

The estimated cost of Student Health Insurance for Fall 2009 is $405. For Spring/Summer 2009 the fee was $611. Premiums, for the current semester, may be obtained by visiting the Student Health Center's Web site (www.usc.edu/uphc) and selecting "student health insurance and waivers".

All students carrying 6 units or more are automatically enrolled in the USC student health insurance plan. All international and Health Sciences campus students are required to have health insurance even if they carry less than 6 units and are automatically enrolled. The health insurance plan works in conjunction with the university's Student Health Centers. For this reason, all students enrolled in the insurance plan are required to pay the student health fee and access their primary care at the Student Health Center on their campus. Students who are registered for classes at off-campus locations (ie: Skirball Center or Orange County) will follow a different health plan structure.

Contact: Health Center at www.usc.edu/uphc or call (213) 740-0551
