Payment Deadlines and Due Dates

Payments should be received by the university by the settlement deadline ( Schedule of Student Account Payment due dates ), inability to access or use USCe.pay does not relieve students from the responsibility to meet the settlement deadline. Payment Options

Payments postmarked on the due date are considered LATE, and will be charged a late fee.

Important Dates

Critical dates for financial planning, registration, and instruction are listed in the Schedule of Classes.

Late Fees and Finance Charges

To avoid late fees, you must register and have your tuition, fees, housing, dining, and all other charges paid or deferred by the settlement deadline of each term. If you fail to register and settle your account, you will be assessed late fees in accordance with the schedule set forth in the Schedule of Classes, usually at $100 for the 1st week that payment is past due, with an addiitional $100 each week the account remains in arrears thereafter. In addition, finance charges may also be accrued.

The university allows students to register for classes right up to the payment deadline. In such an instance a student will not receive a bill prior to payment becoming due. Therefore, non-receipt of a bill does not relieve you of this settlement deadline, so make sure you consider any possible delays which may be caused by internet access problems, weekends or holidays.

Be sure to mail or submit your payment early enough for the university to receive it by the settlement deadline. If paying online or by phone, inability to access USCe.pay does not relieve the student from the responsibility to meet the settlement deadline. For international students, please note that wire transfers may take several weeks to reach us.  If you add additional classes after the settlement deadline, you must pay the additional fees by Friday of the same week in which they were assessed to avoid late fees.
