What is the STU50 hold on my account?

The STU50 hold will prevent international students from registering for classes. However this hold can be removed once you enter through US Port Security and arrive at USC with proper immigration documents.

To REMOVE this hold you will need to do one of the following:

sign-up for a Passport Verification Session (PPV) session (http://sait.usc.edu/ois/ppv/)
go to the Office of International Services (OIS) to do an individual PPV
do PPV during International Student Orientation

Once PPV is completed, you will be able to register for classes and obtain your USCcard.
