Frequently Asked Questions

Why are you refusing to discuss my account with my parents?

United States Federal Law requires that before we discuss the details of your student account with anyone other than you, we must have on file a document commonly known as a "Buckley Waiver". You use this form to grant us permission to discuss your account with any designated person or persons, including your parents, guardian, spouse, etc. Completing this waiver is voluntary, and will remain in effect until or unless you rescind it in writing.

You may grant access to your information outside of online services by filing a Buckley Waiver.

Note: A Buckley Waiver or OASIS guest access is required for us to discuss your account with anyone other than you.

Online Access to Student Accounts:

  • OASIS:
You may grant access to all of your education records by setting up an OASIS guest account. This authorizes your guest to access your information through OASIS and also authorizes us to disclose information directly to your guest. Guest profiles can also be set up to authorize monthly e-bill notices to be sent to your guest's email account.
  • USCe.pay:
You may grant online access to your student account financial records only, by setting up a USCe.pay guest user account. This authorization is limited to the pages you specify on the USCe.pay guest user profile. This does not authorize us to disclose your information to your guest. Guest profiles can also be set up to authorize monthly e-bill notices to be sent to your guest's email account.
