Frequently Asked Questions

When will my first payment be due on my loan?

Please refer to your promissory note as all loans vary, or go to the ECSI website for immediate online access to your student loan information and to make online payments and inquiries on student loans.

If you are currently in a deferment or grace period, you will receive statements prior to the first payment due date. If you do not choose to pay on-line at http://www.ecsi.net, please be sure to make your check or money order payable to The University of Southern California and return your payment to the following address:

The University of Southern California/ ECSI, 181 Montour Run Road, Coraopolis, PA 15108.

Always be sure to write your account number on your check or money order. Do not send your payment directly to The University. If at any time you think you are eligible for a deferment, cancellation, or postponement, please access the forms at http://www.ecsi.net/bwr/forms and return the completed forms to USC for processing; 1150 W. Jefferson BL; PSB-100; Los Angeles, CA 90089-1054.

During this conversion period we will be working very closely with ECSI to ensure a smooth transition. If you have any questions regarding your statement, for current accounts please contact USC directly at 213 740-4077; for past due accounts please call 213 740-3490; or by email at uscsfs@usc.edu. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we strive to improve our service to you.
