Contract Suppliers Listing

Contract Suppliers are those suppliers with which the university has a negotiated or bid agreement that could include price discounts, simplified ordering methods, set delivery arrangements, specialized customer service requirements, and billing payment methods.

Bidding is not required when a purchase is made with a Contract Supplier. This exemption applies because Purchasing Services has already conducted a bid and made an award on behalf of the entire university for on-going purchases. A bid should be conducted if the department or Purchasing Services determine that bidding, even though a Contract Supplier provides the requested services or goods, is in the best interest of the university. When conducting bids, include contract suppliers in the solicitation.
