FedEx Logistics
FedEx shipments can be delivered and picked-up via the following methods.
FedEx Drop Boxes
- If you produced an airbill on which your nine-digit FedEx account number is either embedded into the bar code (fedex.com) or printed (handwritten/typed), you can drop your shipment in any FedEx drop box, including any off-campus FedEx drop box. FedEx drop boxes are large enough to accommodate all FedEx boxes and envelopes, with the exception of tubes.
- There are several FedEx drop box located on both the UPC and HSC campuses:
- UPC Bookstore (front/outside) / Pick up time 4:00 pm
- UPC PSA (3667 McClintock Ave) / Pick up time 4:00 pm
- UPC PSD (649 W. 34th St.) / Pick up time 4:00 pm
- UPC PSX (620 West McCarthy Way) / Pick up time 4:45 pm
- UPC University Village (3375 S. Hoover) / Pick up time 5:00 pm
- HSC Gift Shop (1969 Zonal) / Pick up time 4:00 pm

Mailing and Material Management Services Pick-Up
- FedEx shipments that are being paid via an Outgoing Mail Requisition must be picked up from your department by USC Mailing and Material Management Services. FedEx shipments paid for by an Outgoing Mail Requisition cannot be dropped in a FedEx mailbox or handed directly to a FedEx representative.
- If you produced an airbill on which your nine-digit FedEx account number is either embedded into the bar code (fedex.com) or printed (handwritten/typed), the shipment can be picked up from your department by USC Mailing and Material Management Services. It can also be dropped in a FedEx mailbox or be given to a FedEx representative.
- For urgent Outgoing Mail Req pick-ups, call Mailing and Material Management Services at 213 743-2299 before 4:45 pm (UPC and HSC) and before 2:30 pm (Alhambra).
- For non-urgent Outgoing Mail Req pick-ups, place your shipment in your department's outgoing mailing bin for regularly scheduled Mailing Services pick up.
FedEx Departmental Pick-Up

If you produced an airbill on which your nine-digit FedEx account number is either embedded into the bar code (fedex.com) or printed(handwritten/typed), you can call Fedex directly at 800 463-3339 (or 800 GO-FEDEX) to schedule a pick-up from your department. There is no charge for departmental pick Ups. FedEx needs to be called before 3:00 pm for a same day pick up (FedEx will pick up before 5:00 pm).

Ground shipments picked up by FedEx may be charged a $11 fee. This $11 fee can be avoided if the ground shipment is picked up by Mailing and Material Management Services.

USC Mail Stop (UPC) and One Stop (HSC)
Deliveries
FedEx will deliver directly to USC departments. Please be certain that those sending FedEx packages or envelopes have your department's correct street address (not just a campus mail code). The correct postal service format is as follows:

FedEx customers (current customers and new customers) can order supplies via www.fedex.com
