In July of 2007, USC officially joined the Kuali Foundation as a development partner for KFS and a founding member for Kuali Student and Kuali Ready.
USC was among the first institutions to “go-live” in 2009 with USC’s Cashiering module. Since that date, USC has rolled out several Financial and Workflow modules in addition to Cashiering, including Chart of Accounts Changes, Purchasing Documents Review, P-Card Reallocation, P-Card eStatement, Journal Vouchers, Gift Processing Form, and Course Scheduling.
About Kuali
The Kuali Foundation is a not-for-profit organization, which promotes, supports and develops administrative software and practices designed to meet the needs of higher education. They manage a growing portfolio of enterprise software applications for colleges and universities and coordinate the activities of Foundation members for critical software development, source code control, release engineering, packaging, documentation, project management, software testing and quality assurance, conference planning, and educating and assisting members of the Kuali Partners program.
Kuali partners believe the Foundation’s administrative systems promise to challenge the market and demonstrate the benefits of a collaborative, higher-education effort. Ultimately, they hope their work will drive down long-term institutional costs and improve administrative software functionality.
