Procurement Card FAQs

  1. I've heard that we are getting new Procurement Cards. Who is the new corporate card provider?

    The university has selected Citibank as its new corporate card provider, and the new cards will be Visa cards.

  2. Do I need to reapply with Citibank to get a Visa P-Card?

    No. All P-Cardholders who have used their Amex P-Cards within the last 18 months will automatically receive a Citibank Visa P-Card.

  3. When will I receive my new P-Card?

    The new Citi P-Cards will arrive in mid-April 2012. The delivery of new P-Cards will be coordinated by Corporate Card Services with your department's business office.

  4. Will the billing cycle dates change?

    No. The billing cycle will remain the same with Citi. The cycle will continue to start on the 11th of every month and end on the 10th of every month.

  5. Will my credit limits change?

    No. Your new Citi P-Card will have the same limits as your Amex P-Card.

  6. Will USC’s Procurement Card Reallocation system change?

    No, USC’s Procurement Card Reallocation System will remain the same. You can continue to reallocate charges just as you have in the past.

  7. How will I receive my statements?

    You will continue to receive all P-Card statements in your action list through Kuali Financial System (KFS). Please note that if there is activity on both your Amex and Citi cards during the transition, you will receive a separate eDoc for Amex transactions and a separate eDoc for Citi transactions.

  8. What will change?

    If you have your Amex card number stored in a supplier’s profile you will need to notify all applicable merchants of your new account number in order to bill recurring charges (subscriptions, FedEx, Office Depot, etc.)
